FACTSHEET
Emergency Food Assistance Program
May 2004
Dressed in their Sunday clothes, Tony and his young wife visited
River City Community Services together. He massaged the back of
his new born son snuggled across his chest. As a recently hired
construction worker, he wasn't quite prepared for the extra cost
of diapers and formula that came with an infant. His rent and utilities
had been paid, but there wasn't much left over for groceries before
the next pay period. Tony and his family are representative of a
growing group of people who come to RCCS. They never dreamed they
would have to ask for emergency food and diapers from a charity.
Your support of RCCS helps us help them.
