THIRD QUARTER REPORT
2005
The holidays are fast approaching and River City Community Services
is gearing up for another busy season. Nothing would make us happier
than to see client numbers decrease. However, our current third
quarter statistics are very similar to those of the third quarter
in 2004, which means we have to be prepared for a very busy fourth
quarter.
The economic picture for the working poor has not improved. Many
will be faced with bleak holidays as transportation, utility and
housing costs continue to increase. Out of necessity, families
will turn to us for food. Please remember our continued and growing
need for holiday foods for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.
