March 2005

River City Community Services second annual Empty Bowls charity luncheon was very successful!

  • Over $22,000 in net income
  • Over 600 bowls contributed from local professional and student potters.
  • Over 500 people attended

During the month of March, we served:

  • 1,976 clients
  • 1,149 adults We provided 65 nights of shelter for 7 families
  • 727 children
  • 978 households: 16% were new

Increasing gas and utilities prices impact the working poor. Please remember that we need the following:

  • Tuna (6oz)
  • Peanut Butter (16 oz)
  • Pork & Beans (16 oz)
