FACTSHEET
Emergency Food and Shelter Programs
September 2005
River City Community Services holds two fund raisers per year.
Without the funds raised by The Tee Off For The Hungry and Empty
Bowls, we could not continue to fund the food and shelter programs
that make such a difference in the lives of those in need.
The 18th annual Tee Off For The Hungry charity golf tournament
held September 30th at Teal Bend Golf Course was a wonderful success.
In fact it was the most successful Tee Off yet! The event attracted
over one hundred golfers who later joined with friends to celebrate
at the Great Hall of Trinity Cathedral over a delicious dinner
of barbeque chicken and ribs. A silent auction followed by an
entertaining live auction provided excellent buying opportunities
for all.
We are very grateful to our generous sponsors, devoted committee
members, golfers and volunteers who worked together to make the
Tee Off so successful.
