Emergency Food and Shelter Programs
July 2006

The triple digit heat takes its toll on all of us, but struggling families and individuals are especially affected. We are grateful to everyone who answered our call for donations at the beginning of summer, and to those steadfast supporters who donate on a regular basis. Thanks to our donors and supportive churches and organizations, we have been able to meet the needs of all of our clients during July's heat wave.

While our staff and volunteers work hard at maintaining our high standards of service to families in need, more volunteers are working long hours organizing our up-coming fundraisers. Please mark your calendars for the following fundraising events:

The CropWalk: Sunday, October 1st. (some proceeds will benefit RCCS and other
local charities)
Tee Off For The Hungry Charity Golf Tournament: Thursday, October 5th.

Empty Bowls, Charity Soup Luncheon: Tuesday, March 13th.
