Volunteer Position Description

Responsible to: Program Manager

Purpose: To pack bulk foods into family sized packages.

Responsibilities:

1. Using good sanitary practices, transfer measured amounts of rice, dried beans, and oatmeal from bulk containers to family-sized plastic bags.
2. Label packages as required.
3. Using good sanitary practices, repackage bread and other bakery items from bulk containers to family-sized plastic bags.

Time required: Ongoing position, 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. once a week. Weekly, monthly or substitute positions available.
